Sandra Annette Bullock\u00a0(\/\u02c8b\u028al\u0259k\/; born July 26, 1964) is an American actress and film producer. The\u00a0highest-paid actress\u00a0of 2010 and 2014,\u00a0Bullock’s filmography\u00a0spans both comedy and drama, and\u00a0her accolades\u00a0include an\u00a0Academy Award\u00a0and a\u00a0Golden Globe Award. After making her acting debut with a minor role in the thriller\u00a0Hangmen\u00a0(1987), Bullock received early attention for her supporting role in the action film\u00a0Demolition Man\u00a0(1993). Her breakthrough in the action thriller\u00a0Speed\u00a0(1994) led to leading roles in the romantic comedy\u00a0While You Were Sleeping\u00a0(1995), as well as the dramas\u00a0A Time to Kill\u00a0(1996) and\u00a0Hope Floats\u00a0(1998).
