Noomi Rapace\u00a0(Swedish:\u00a0[\u02c8n\u01d2\u02d0m\u026a\u00a0ra\u02c8pas\u02d0]; n\u00e9e\u00a0Nor\u00e9n; born 28 December 1979) is a Swedish actress.\u00a0She achieved international fame with her portrayal of\u00a0Lisbeth Salander\u00a0in the Swedish film adaptations of the\u00a0Millennium\u00a0series\u00a0(2009):\u00a0The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,\u00a0The Girl Who Played with Fire, and\u00a0The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest. For her performance in the\u00a0Millennium\u00a0series, Rapace won, amongst others, two\u00a0Nymphe d’Or, a\u00a0Guldbagge Award, and a\u00a0Satellite Award\u00a0as Best Actress, and was nominated for a\u00a0BAFTA Award, an\u00a0International Emmy Award\u00a0and a\u00a0European Film Award.
